We use electric and magneticfields to image deep structures of the volcanoes and seismogenic zones, where fluids play an important role. We also supervise undergraduate and graduate students from Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Tokyo Institute of Technology.

Our researches focus on the following topics.

1. Imaging internal structures of volcanoes and their temporal variations using electric and magnetic fields
2. Monitoring deep temperature of volcanoes by geomagnetic total force
3. Three-dimensional imaging of deep crustal fluids in and around volcanic and seismogenic zones
